This is such a rich post Madelleine, thank you! I’m going to really sit with it. My self care has deepened in the past several months but has been strong for decades so I don’t often make space to experience it via naming and acknowledging it—realizing that defaults to a feeling of taking it (and me) for granted.
Thank you for this. “Saved” I’m working on all this. Two questions I struck upon recently that really help me -
“What good are you doing in the world?”
“What are some strong relationships you have?”
I can pretty easily answer these questions so they serve to remind me of my worth.
In regard to creativity, for me, low self worth results in the dreaded perfectionism.
