I painted my song, Where Cold Hearts Go To Pray
A while ago, I got the idea that I wanted to paint one of my songs! So I asked my Instagram followers to vote for a song. They chose Where Cold Hearts Go To Pray.
• I was very honoured to be featured on this songwriting journal compilation alongside other wonderful songwriters, go check it out here • When you buy my album you also support research into ME/CFS and Long Covid. ME/CFS is one of the must underfunded illnesses and it disproportionately affects women. Purchase the album here.
Hi friend!
I hope you’ve had a good week?
Mine has been pretty epic.
I was able to go outside, in a car, and to the beach (we live real close to the ocean). I was overwhelmed by the colours and how beautiful everything is — it was like I was seeing everything in technicolor.
I haven’t been able to go outside like this for seven years — which is unfathomable, I don’t understand how I’ve been able to keep my spirits up. I think it is because I have these wonderful creative projects that I really want to get out into the world.
I’m ’busy’ — when my body allows, working on my album. I have recorded all demos so they are ready for my brother to record the piano and for his friends to record other instrumentation. I have recorded one song as the final version (at least for now, I need to double check it). I’m able to work faster this time than my last album, but I still can’t get through recording a full song in one go, my voice just won’t allow it.

Here is the final piece (the size is A3):
I’d love to know what you think of it!
You can listen to the song here (for all other platforms click here):
Also, is there any merch that you would want to see with images like these on them? Like folded greeting cards, postcards, journals… etc.? I would love to start selling merch, but would like to make it useful for you, not just merch for the sake of merch. And as always, I will be donating all proceeds to ME/CFS research.
Tell me…
How has your week been?
Do you have any creative projects you’re working on right now?
What do you think of my song-painting? And what kind of merch would you be interested in from me?
I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below.
